Well, I've gone and done it.

I jumped on the House bandwagon. I’m not an aficionado by any stretch of the matter. I couldn’t quote lines from House like I could from, say, Friends (I think I just revealed more about myself than I’d care for you to know, but whatever), but this week’s episode was a real corker - a brilliant treatment of the relationship between perception and reality. The show addressed the human tendencies to both see things the way we want to, even though our perceptions don’t correspond to reality, and to try to make others see things the way we want them to, regardless of how things actually are. Umm, guilty as charged.
